Discover the Atlantic coast with me
Following a long time dream, I set sail in April 2019 in the south of France. My new home is a 26 feet sailing catamaran built out of plywood. The boat design follows the rule:«keep it as simple as possible». This has the advantage that one is closer to the ocean and also that there are fewer and cheaper repairs than usually on a sailboat.
My journey combines my love for sailing with the possibility to get to know different places, what from my point of view enriches many aspects of life. On one hand I want to find out what really interests me in the context from my studies in Geography. Being able to see what in lecture halls only get discussed about, brings in a whole new perspective. On the other hand it is a chance to find out what life really is about, to find happiness and last but not least to find inspiration to live a sustainable lifestyle.
